If you had to use just one word to describe 14-year-old Alice, you’d have to go with theatrical. Ask her what she enjoys and she will tell you two things: performing and makeup. She loves musicals, from West Side Story to Oklahoma to Singing in the Rain, and has danced in countless local ballet performances, including Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and The Nutcracker. This past March, Alice took the stage in the Whole Children & Milestones Theater Studio’s spring performance, Shake It Off: An Interplanetary Experience, at Smith College. Fittingly, she played the role of a makeup artist. She adored this role, but is quick to say that her favorite part of the Theater Studio is her friends.
Alice loves to act and sing and any time that she can put those interests together is preferred. When she isn’t on stage, she can be found taking classes like Pokémon and Growing Up at Whole Children.
Alice’s mom, Evie, said, “We are so lucky to live nearby and enjoy this rich, flexible, thoughtful, and growth focused programming! When it comes to teaching social boundaries, self-control, and independence even our public schools come to Whole Children to get the best teachers and coaches.”
With the support of the Whole Children community behind us, we look forward to another year of showcasing the talents of stars like Alice.
