patterns, coordination and balance, vestibular function and sensory
integration. Classes use a full range of equipment, including the
climbing wall, balance beam and swing. This class has several

elements of various street styles, improvisation and traditional jazz.
Children/Teens can relate and enjoy this form of dance in relation to pop
culture. All are encouraged to bring with them their own interpretation and
influence.

Field Sports - Instructor Gwen Bass

Learn how to play a variety
of sports including kickball, ultimate frisbee and tennis softball (softball
using a tennis ball and racquet). Class will focus on how to play the games,
cooperative team play and social skill building.

Yoga for Adults - Instructor Tara Emery

Parents! It’s your turn to
learn the art of Yoga. All levels are welcome to join this yoga class designed
for beginners. Classes will focus on breath, alignment, and relaxation. Please
bring a yoga mat, blanket (or thick towel) and block to class.
Recess Games - Instructor Joey Wright & Jason Litto

This class offers an opportunity to learn the basic components of the
recess games played every day at school. The class focuses on
playground etiquette and the acquisition of the rules of typical school
yard games by breaking down the skills required to fully participate.
In this class we will work
on social skills, conversation skills, and manners over lunch. Boys will be
encouraged to talk about what is on their minds. This group will discuss
clothing, personal hygiene and relationships. Pizza will be provided.
Outdoor Adventure Club - Instructor Brock McConkey & Joey Wright

Come explore the outdoors!
Local trails will be explored while offering students the opportunity to
experience a wide range of activities. Adventures during the hikes will
include exploration of caves, following animal tracks and rock climbing. Please
send a snack and water.

This a one-day, two-hour event where children of all
abilities will experience the thrill of indoor rock climbing. Experienced
belayers and Whole Children staff members will be on hand to help the children
get the most out of this rocking day. Shoe equipment rentals are included in
the price of this class. Space is limited, so sign up early! Sunday May 18,

Under the Big Top: Summer Session 1 - Instructor Annemarie Flaherty
Time: June 30-July 11, 1:30-4:30 p.m. Price: $310
This circus-themed program will incorporate gymnastics, tumbling, and
specialty acts. Children will create their own costumes, make-up, and
props, and we will end the session by staging a circus performance on
July 11. Everyone is invited, so bring the whole family! (There is no class on July 4.)
(PLEASE NOTE: This session is held over 2 non-consecutive weeks. You may register for one or both weeks of the program.)
Children will learn many aspects of gardening. We will be harvesting garlic that was planted last fall and tending to our crops. We will use a variety of tools and techniques for gardening. Mornings will include group games, stories, a gardening project, snack, and a craft activity. A trip to the Food Bank Farm will also be in store for the children.

digital photography, including lighting, shooting, composition,
printing, and photo-shopping, the particular assignments will all
incorporate goals targeting social skills and communication.
