The Staples Foundation - Whole Children has received $2,000 from the Staples Foundation for Learning in support of our
programs. Whole Children was recommended by an employee.
The Agnes M. Lindsay Trust - Whole Children has
received a $3,000 grant from the Agnes M. Lindsay Trust. This
grant will be used to support our Summer Enrichment Programs.
The Community Foundation of Western Mass - Whole
Children has received a $5,000 grant from the Community Foundation of
Western Mass to support a year-long Woodworking and Art program.
This grant will be used for salaries, woodworking and art supplies,
tools, and storage capability.
The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation - Whole
Children has received a grant for $18,079 from the Doug Flutie, Jr.
Foundation for Autism. This grant will support a year-round Open
Play recreation program and a Family Fun Soccer program.
NOK Foundation Grant - Whole Children has received a
$5000 grant from the NOK Foundation in New York City. This grant
is to support the development of our yoga program including the
production of a manual, and to conduct a small research study looking
at the benefits of yoga to children with special needs.
The Community Foundation of Western Mass - Whole Children has
received an $8000 grant from the Community Foundation of Western Mass,
The Nan and Matilda Heydt Fund administrered by Bank of America,
Trustee and The Valley Charitable Trust Fund administered by Bank of
America, Trustee to puchase equipment for our movement area. The
equipment planned include a climbing wall, a sensory ball pit, padded
flooring, balance beam and other gymnastics and sensory equipment.
The Staples Foundation - Whole Children has received $1704
from the Staples Foundation for Learning in support of our
programs. Whole Children was recommended by an employee.
Wal-Mart Foundation - Whole Children has received $300 from
the Wal-Mart Foundation as a matching grant to the HaHa Sisterhood
Fundraiser held in May.
The Jared Tamler Memorial Fund - Whole Children has received
a $21,000 grant from The Jared Tamler Memorial Fund in order to support
the ongoing operations of Whole Children and enable us to continue to
provide services to children and families in the area.
The Xeric Foundation
-- Whole Children has received a $5000 grant from the Xeric Foundation
for equipment and site upgrade project. Watch for our new and
improved movement space with a climbing wall, ball pit, and hanging
apparatus for sensory integration activities.
